My Cane Corso died 7 years ago. She was the most fabulous dog I ever had. Most reliable and with a heart of gold.

I teach my dogs not to lick me as early as grown-up puppies. But instead a touch and hug. I don't like those slime all over me.

I have a Cane Corso and Rottweiler mix. She is 2 years old and I socialized her early so she’s great with people, kids and other dogs.so loyal and beautiful.

I've had 4 Labradors and 3 German Shepherds, and both were affectionate, gentle and loving. These breeds require exercise and a strong leader.

The Aztecs bred Chihuahuas to be 'magical' and often used them for ritual sacrifice. Reminding my wife of this is always sure to get a rise out of her😂. Ive always loved our Chihuahuas for their hot latin blooded traits, much like my wife's. They always think theyre much bigger than they truly are. No fear in these two. Our JackChi rescue is a great hunter. She learned how to survive on her own on a big farm as a puppy. She kills squirrels, opossums, mice and rats. She marches our fence line every night like a soldier. She's even come in the house covered in blood a few times. She wont let us sleep at night if we dont let her out to do her rounds for an hour or so. Shes still a little wild, but can almost keep up with me on a mountain bike! She'll follow me everywhere if shes not sleeping.

If you can Find a way to Lone your puppy to a school for an hour thats one way too get em use to kids at a early stage and they will remember those visits as an adult dog.

They are no more "feisty" than any other breed. Proper training. I've had 2 Chi's now, first for 15 years and this 2nd for 7 years, NEITHER were "vocal". Proper training. Not lazy! Always ready to GO! My 1st boy was a long hair and I shed more than both the short and long hair. NEVER had an issue with pet hair in my home. NOTE: They fur picks up ALL odors easily! Smoke around them and they will smell like smoke, put them in fabric softer bedding and that's what they will smell like. They are "fragile" however, they are extremely harder in physical and recovery. No more aggressive than any other breed; if aggressive because the pet owner babies them like a human. All about early and common socialization! I REALLY would NOT suggest the Chi for a first time pet owner! The Chi is too damn intelligent for their own good and WILL easily manipulate their human, from what they will and won't eat, nail clipping, baths, training, Vet visits etc. IF one learns "Dog 101" however and train, teach, socialize early they are the BEST dogs ever! Trust I have owned many a dog from Pit Bulls, Lab's, Collie's an assortment of large Mutts. The Chi is a wonderful companion!

I've had 4 Chihuahua's😊 all smooth coats 1 Tri-color champion AKC Deerhead, 1 Therapy dog Deerhead in a beautiful golden red and champagne color, 2 Applehead Chihuahua's one blonde, and one fawn color. ALL of them have been and are absolutely precious & sweet intelligent, loyal and so loving. My next door neighbors toddler loves my Chihuahua and sometimes pulls on her ears and Gabby ( my current deerhead Chi) just looks at her so sweet. Get one!! You will never regret it. 😊

Owned by a much loved 5 year old rescue Little Lion. A visit to a local groomer turned him from a matted, dirty walking mop, to a gorgeous honey colored treasure.Even though it is winter here, he had to have a puppy cut, to get rid off all matting. I plan to let him grow into a teddy cut, but also have brushes and 2 clippers. One for his coat, the other is more suited for paw pads and bottom. our little man.💖

I adopted a dog from our shelter last year in rough shape, fur wise. All her fur grew back in and she’s black with patches of brindle underneath. I thought she was a bit Papillon 11:04 breed because of her tail. I noticed she didn’t smell doggy and shed that much at all. I did an Embark DNA test on her. She’s 49.7 Boston Terrier,13.6 Maltese, 10.9 Yorkie , 7.8 Miniture Schnauzer, 18 percent Supermutt, trace of small poodle and Havanese. I guess I got a mixture of a few of those breeds that don’t smell or shed much. She is very smart and friendly. I named her Chloe.
